Two of the most common requests from international patients on a short stay are small, targeted ones: reduce a pocket of fat that will not move (arms, a double chin), and do something about tired-looking under-eyes without surgery. Both can be treated in one visit, and both are areas where it pays to know exactly what is being injected and what the treatment can and cannot do. This page covers our Newfit fat-dissolving injection, how to choose between injections, ONDA and Ultherapy for a double chin, and what a one-day under-eye treatment really is.
Newfit: a steroid-free fat-dissolving injection
Injection lipolysis means injecting a solution into a localized fat deposit to reduce it. A 2026 review in Frontiers in Medicine summarizes the mechanisms, clinical applications and safety of injection lipolysis in aesthetic medicine (Ao et al., 2026). Formulas differ widely between clinics, which is why the first question to ask is what is in the syringe.
Newfit is the formula EU:GENES has developed from its own diet-clinic work since 2015. It is built from concentrated naturally derived ingredients and FDA-approved medication, and the clinic states that it contains no steroids (EU:GENES, Newfit), and no PPC or hyaluronidase either. The steroid point matters. Some lipolysis mixtures include a corticosteroid to make the area look slimmer quickly, and steroid-based injections are a recognized cause of depressed, atrophic patches at the injection site; a 2026 paper reports treating exactly these lesions (Park et al., 2026). A steroid-free formula avoids that specific risk.
What to expect:
- Areas. Upper arms, bra line and back, upper and lower abdomen, flanks, thighs, calves, knees, ankles and the double chin.
- Dose. Set one to one for the area and the amount of fat after the Medical Director's examination.
- Comfort. Ice is applied before injection. Mild swelling, tenderness or bruising for a few days is normal.
- Timeline. A change is usually felt from about two weeks after the first session. Results are commonly maintained for one to three months per session, and a course of three to five sessions is recommended for a lasting change.
Fat-dissolving injections reduce localized fat. They are not a weight-loss treatment, and they do not tighten loose skin.
Double chin: injections, ONDA or Ultherapy?
A double chin is fat, loose skin, or both, and the right treatment depends on which. Choosing the technique for submental fullness by anatomy is the standard approach (Jones and Sturm, 2025).

Arms and body: what injections can do
Upper arms are the most requested body area among visitors. Injections work well for a defined pocket of fat on the back of the arm. Larger areas such as the abdomen or thighs need more sessions and are often combined with ONDA's deep handpiece. If the main issue is loose skin on the arm rather than fat, injections alone will not improve the contour, and we say so at the consultation.
One-day under-eye treatment: what it is, honestly
"Non-surgical eye bag removal" is a phrase patients search for, so it is worth being precise. There are two different under-eye problems:
- A hollow (tear trough) and shadow between the lower eyelid and the cheek, which makes the eye look tired and makes any bag look bigger.
- True eye bags, where the fat behind the lower eyelid bulges forward.
The anatomy and management of the tear trough are reviewed in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal (Termanini and Alghoul, 2026). A non-surgical treatment can fill the hollow and smooth the transition, which makes mild bags far less visible. It cannot remove bulging fat; that is a surgical procedure.
EU:GENES's one-day under-eye treatment combines a small amount of hyaluronic acid filler in the tear trough with a collagen-stimulating injection to improve the thin under-eye skin. It is done in a single visit and the result typically lasts one to one and a half years. It suits hollows, shadows and mild bags. Possible side effects are bruising, swelling for a few days, and, if filler sits too superficially, a lumpy or bluish look, which is why very small amounts are placed deep. If your bags are mainly bulging fat, we will tell you that surgery is the honest answer rather than treat you with filler.
What changes the price in Korea
- Area and volume. A double chin is a small area; arms, abdomen and thighs use more product per session.
- Number of sessions. Injections are usually a course of three to five. Ask whether a quote is per session or per course.
- What is in the formula. Steroid-containing mixtures are cheaper to make. Ask what the injection contains.
- Under-eye product and amount. The filler brand and the collagen-stimulating product are priced separately from each other.
- Who injects. Physician injection after an in-person examination is priced differently from delegated treatment.
